I'm 20 years old and I'm being supported by a 55-year-old man. He gives me 30,000 yuan a month and bought me a boat. After taking a shower last night and preparing to lie comfortably in bed, my phone suddenly rang. I saw that it was from the old man. After hesitating for two seconds, I answered the phone. The unmistakable voice of the old man came from the other end of the line: 'Baby, I'm downstairs. Come down and accompany me somewhere.' I sighed, tidied up casually, and went downstairs.
After getting on the grandpa's car, he told me that we were going to the seaside. The seaside at night is very quiet, with a cool breeze blowing through my hair. We stood on the shore, gazing at the dark sea, with moonlight shining on the surface, shimmering with ripples.
The old man lit a cigarette, took a deep puff, and slowly blew out smoke rings. He fell silent for a moment and said to me, 'Bao'er, do you know why I like you?'
I didn't answer, just looked at him quietly. He continued, "You remind me of my daughter, who passed away many years ago. When she was your age, she was young and beautiful like you."
Speaking, the old man's eyes softened, as if recalling the past. He continued, "I hope you can understand me. I know our relationship is not so straightforward, but I am really lonely. I hope you can accompany me."
Upon hearing this, I suddenly felt some sympathy for him. I gently embraced him and said, "Grandpa, I will always be with you."
Since then, our relationship has undergone some changes. I am no longer just his benefactor, but have become his friend and family. We go shopping, eat together, and chat, just like an ordinary couple.
Grandpa has started to mention money less and less. He told me that he hopes I can live a better life, instead of relying on his money. He encourages me to study and pursue my own dreams.
He is really nice, but he is really not suitable.
I am now very hesitant about what to do.
