[Coin World] Coin World reported on July 31 that Rice Robotics, the company behind the RICE AI platform, will begin selling its RICE Token through a certain platform on August 5. RICE will provide a decentralized data marketplace for artificial intelligence robots, which is part of a broader effort to tokenize robot data and expand the DePIN scale. The $750,000 presale accounts for 10% of the total token supply of 1 billion tokens, with a valuation of $7.5 million. Launch partners include a certain public chain, DWF Labs, and Floki. The company's indoor delivery robots have been deployed at SoftBank's Tokyo headquarters, Mitsui Fudosan properties, and Japan's 7-Eleven stores, and are integrated with the 7-Now delivery system. The RICE token will be used to incentivize data contributions, subscribe to AI models, and govern the platform, and will achieve deflation through buybacks via transaction fees. Earlier this year, the company secured $7 million in Pre-A round financing from institutions including Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund.
