According to Wu, the famous Scottish whisky brand Bowmore has announced a collaboration with Avalanche to launch the first on-chain whisky NFT series, set to be released on September 30, 2025, at the TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore. Pre-sales have already begun, including a limited edition of 8 sets of 30-year-old collector's version priced at $5,500 (holders will be invited to meet with Ava Labs founder Emin Gün Sirer) and a classic version of 12-year-old whisky limited to 150 bottles priced at $180 each. Each bottle is equipped with an NFC chip and linked to an NFT. Buyers can claim the NFT through the Suntory official website and redeem the physical product at the conference.
