Gate Charity Provides Meals to Patients and Families at Thu Duc City Hospital in Vietnam

Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization founded by Gate Group, organized a meal distribution initiative in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, on August 18th, 2023. This event was organized to provide meals for individuals currently experiencing poverty and patients passing through the hospital.

Volunteers and local supporters opened a meal distribution booth at the Thu Duc City Hospital. At the booth, meals are prepared and handed out to disadvantaged and underserved individuals and families from the local community, along with patients and their loved ones being treated at the hospital. This initiative helps bring a positive boost to individuals and families experiencing hardship due to poverty and those experiencing health-related stress and uncertainty.

Just this past July, volunteers from Gate Charity visited the Angel Institute Child Protection Center in Ho Chi Minh City. They collected unique artwork created by the children, which are being minted as NFTs and sold to raise funds for child welfare.

Although this most recent event was undertaken using traditional forms of philanthropic action, Gate Charity has previously organized several other charity initiatives in Vietnam that utilize blockchain-based fundraising. The organization is committed to building a more equitable and socially responsible world through conventional and blockchain-powered charitable actions.
